The best thing about Gerard's is that they just give you loads and loads of chips. You would never need to buy a large portion unless you have been starving yourself for days. 1 small prtion of chips from here is enough for me and my 2 children to share.
I don't like the kebabs though. They do them in Pitta bread and I prefer them in a Naan bread and the meat always seems to be really greasy.
The fish is gorgeous though and you get a big massive piece that is well worth the money - Just as well as I find them a bit dearer than most of the other chip shops.
The staff are pleasant and they are very eco-friendly as they give you Paper bags to carry your chips home in instead of plastic carrier bags (I usually take my own)
